Licensed Master Plumber

$39–$48/hr

Midway Electric is seeking a highly skilled, motivated Licensed Master Plumber to lead the growth of our new plumbing division. You'll lead plumbing projects from start to finish — ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications — and drive the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing installations, repairs, and remodeling projects. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform complex plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and estimates.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression and timely completion.
  • Conduct construction estimating for plumbing components, materials, and labor to support project planning and budgeting.
  • Lead field service activities, including troubleshooting mechanical issues related to plumbing.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with remodeling, maintenance, or new construction.
  • Ensure all work aligns with schematic diagrams and sound mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports.
  • Support team members with handyman skills such as carpentry or basic remodeling when needed.

What you bring

  • Licensed Master Plumber able to lead the division as it grows.
  • Proven plumbing experience with a strong understanding of commercial and residential systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to plumbing projects.
  • Familiarity with construction-site safety standards and practices for heavy lifting and field service operations.
  • Prior experience in remodeling or maintenance projects is a plus.
